Well.....here goes nothing.....

I've always considered myself to be fairly technologically savvy....but this blogging is NEW to me...so, after a week of trying to figure it out.....I think I finally have....
As I mentioned in my profile......I have always been active....but have never been a "runner"! My best friend has encouraged me over the years to mix up my exercise regimen and challenge myself.....so here I am. When I do something.....I go all out......so I thought, if I'm going to do this running thing.....may as well train for a marathon! So, to all you working mothers out there......especially if new to running.....have you run into any obstacles training? There are simply not enough hours in the day! And my body is having quite a time adjusting to this new routine. My knees are screaming! Guess they are not used to the impact. Excited about tomorrow though.....see ya there!

Congratulations on figuring out the blog. I must say it was a challenge for me as well. Looking forward to our cold run on the am. I am very proud of you for taking this on, we are going to have lots of fun. Remember as the song says "you got me and Jesus"

Sorry I just got your blog from yesterday. As far as fitting in goes.. I'd say your'e advanced; you did a great job on the 10k and yes you will have good and bad days running. Some days you feel like you could go forever and others like you've never run a mile. You will find that you will probably have more middle of the road days than bad days; when you have a good day it is awesome, just enough to keep you pushing ahead.

Hi Christy, I'm a working mom too and finding time to train (without feeling guilty) it's a challenge in itself. Hang in there, we'll make it.

Challenge and incentive.
Paul informed me and told me to relay it to you that if you complete all the marathon training and finish the marathon; he will treat us both to hotel, full day spa service at AQUA (the full monty) and dinner at Char. That sounds like some incentive to me.
Surprise!
Nice way to start the week, huh?
